"P38 flaps are the cushion of the IAS unaware?"

Whats this mean? Flaps on the 38 seem right to me.

Well cept for the auto retract BS that is.

The answer's in the last line....; just think how many RR pilots that auto retract code has saved.


(And they call the Spit easy mode!  :)  )

just think how many vets woulda blew flaps out without AR.

id rather have AR and keep flaps working, then no AR and blown
flaps that u need new plane to work again.

It's killed more P-38 drivers in AH than saved them.  Damn feature needs to go.
