The RPM's setting on the G10 doesn't seem to be affecting fuel economy. Try the following to replicate:
- Take off with take-off assist on.
- Without touching controls, and watching E6B, note that GPM doesn't change at all until you get below 1000 rpm.
- Increase RPM to full and get out of take-off assist.
- You can now no longer drop RPM below 1000, so you are always burning fuel at max rate unless you throttle back.
If you stall it, you can jam the RPM's below 1000 and see GPM drop, but then you're stalled with the engine barely turning over. There's no linear change in RPM's from full to 1000 - which seems not right.
Seems to be only the 109G10.
