Title: Why a Ditch in an osti?

Just my opinion but, if your on your OWN field and you get out of a vehicle, why the hell is it a ditch? In a plane and off the runway, i can understand but in a vehicle and right next to the VH? Sorry, but that's just ridiculous.

PS: i wont mention the kills I lost by getting the "so called ditch"

I believe it goes this way:  if your base or city is not presently
under attack (flashing), then you can despawn without ditching
anywhere within a radius no closer to an enemy field.  Otherwise you must despawn at a field facility (concrete).
