How have the summer temperatures been in your area? We have had exactly one day of 100 degree weather. Last week we had a day-time temerature of 73 degrees...an absolutely unbelievable event for this time of year. Folks here can never remember it happening before.

My Dad, who is 77 years old, said that this is the mildest summer he can ever remember.

We have had the same here in the NE, and alot of cloudy, rainy days. Not alot of good beach days.

It made for a nice change...it has been hot as Hades here all summer.

Post by: Reschke on August 02, 2004, 12:28:12 PM: Hmmm completely different here in Alabama. Its a typical summer; highs in the low to mid 90's. Humidity in the 90+% range, rain almost every afternoon and air so thick you need a knife to cut a hole in it to see through.

The smog over DC, though, has been unusually dark. I hold Bush responsible.
