 The airbags are for lifting aircraft. :)
 
 The sound system started as a weather radio and the specs included the words:
 amplitude modulation
 frequency modulation
 data

 Well I just figured that for 3/4 of a mil you could at least get tunes. ;)

 GPS is used to find the location the downed aircraft. Many 911 centers can triangulate location with the new enhanced 911 (e911). This technology uses "Assisted GPS", as the handset only has a partial GPS receiver, and is assisted by GPS receiver in the Cell Towers and a server that calculates the position. Most of the calls to 911 centers are from cell phone users.
 This new technology is growing each day.
