rename it and save it as 1.bmp @ 256 colour 512x512
I re opend map editor and it was in the corner like it should be i then saved the file and did "build" and mooved the files it created to my ah2 terrain folder
But the map dose not show in the clip board.....
Have i forgoten how to make maps or is there a bug??

You put the "map.bmp" into your terrain folder, which allowed you to see it in the TE.
You need to make a TEXSRC folder and put a copy of the "map.bmp" (or in your example, "1.bmp") into the TEXSRC folder.
THAT is how you used to do it. :)

Or at least that is how it worked in AH1... I haven't done it in AH2 yet.

It works fine in ah2
But the make map command makes a blank map,
So i make a 512x512 256 colour bmp in paint b4 i make the terrain.
Then i start a new terrain and save it b4 adding any tiles, Add the bmp to the folder, and Then i can see the map in the terrain editor and then i just place the tiles in acordance to what i drew in paint,
Apart from that and the fact that objects instantly snap to the center of a grid, ah2 map editor is virtualy Exactly same as ah1,
Thanx for your help
