Title: System Freeze on Arena Exit

I can't give much detail, but since Patch 7 I've been starting to experience a complete system freeze upon exiting the main arena...

Acutally, I think the system might still be alive in the background because I occassionally see the mouse cursor if I move it to a corner... The system mouse cursor, not the AH one..  But AH will not release the video.

Alt-tab, CNtrl-Alt-Del etc don't help..  

I have left it alone for as much as ten minutes and it never recovers, requiring a hard reboot.

Just curious...

The next time you land and are ready to exit MA, do an Alt-F4 and see of you can exit completely to desktop.

Also, are you running AH2 in the same resolution as your desktop (i.e. both set to 1024x768 or whatever) ?

I'm not talking about exiting the game... I'm just talking about going out to the Arena list.   I have tried it with res set same as game and without   - froze both times.  

Haven't tried Alt-F4 since I wasn't trying to exit the program.

I understand that you were only trying to get back to the arena list. Please try to exit MA (and the game) with Alt-F4 and see if it hangs.

I had the same problem when i started playing ah2...  but it did it on the last splash screen, freeze!!!!!!!!!!!  nothing but hard boot would fix the freeze, alt f4  did same thing, freeze!!!!!!!  so skuzzy asked me to reinstall video drivers and BAM!!!!!  fixed it..  my dx was showing and still is ,  shows inactive vid cards  4 of them for some reason in the registery, he says i should get those out of there( im working on it)   but removing and reinstalling vid driver  fixed it,  for me, that is...  G/L bro
