Title: On a lighter note
Post by: Sceadu on August 02, 2004, 11:35:48 PM
Anyone else see the report of Roger Clemens being ejected from his son's little league game?  Now that's funny.  Turns out it was blown way out of proportion too; but still...

On a side note to the lighter note:

As an Astros fan, I have to ask.  How can a team get Roger Clemens and Andy Pettitte and Carlos Beltran and get worse?  Only in Houston.  I'll bet the Cubs don't get worse with Nomar.

Whether he threw or spit the seeds at an ump is not the point. The fact that he did either act is unacceptable for a professional who is supposed to be an example. He is supposed to be someone to look up to as a sports figure and this type of behavior, expecially at a youth sporting event, is certainly not indicative of a professional's behavior.
