Guys I am not finger pointing. This post is not focused on "porking". There is nothing wrong with base capturing. I know this sounds contrary to my post but I hope I have explained it in other posts. There are no rules that say you can not capture. However, it is very frustrating at certian times to plan a mission for squad night when the bases needed to operate from, contrary to the map theme for the week, are no longer available. Some of you guys can plan a mission in 5 minutes. Thats not the way we do it. Stream14 has already posted part of a mission plan his guys once planed. It takes them a few days to plan and the mission is flown on thursdays.
A squad does not have to capture a base for the mission to be a success. Continuously attacking a base, or CV, can be fun for all and when you get tired of killing stuff, log off. When the base or CV gets captured or sunk, in some maps, the party is over and most log anyway. Whne you are having a party, capturing a base is much like someone removing the music from an awsome party!
For the month of July my squadron (five active pilots) captured 5 bases and sunk countless ships
One other CT squad captured 18 bases and sunk an undetermaned number of ships.
At least for the month of August, unless ordered be me, my squad will not be capturing ANY bases.

Be real.
As designed, a/the major objective of this GAME is to capture bases.

To a certain extent, I agree with eskimo. Base capture is inevitable. What your stats don't reflect is on most maps we're fighting over a few key bases. We take yours and you take them back. There is nothing wrong with trying to capture a base as long as there is oppostion to stop you. If someone takes your base, obviously you're going to try to take it back or what's the point? Believe me you aren't the only one who's had missions planned and had to scrap them because of lost bases.
As far as what people think of you Hawk, I think you'd be amazed how many people respect you and your abilty. You have a right as we all do to our opinions.

What I respect most (and dislike at the same time) about Hawk is you can't "trash talk" him out of flying his style. Most folks BnZ you a few times and after a couple of verbal jabs, they lose their cool, get their panties all bunched and come after me, which is exactly what I want them to do. Hawk doesnt, he just keeps on flying his style and that makes me angry. :)

Thanks guys. What you say is true and is the difficult part of telling my squad members how to "play" when it is not squad time. However, due to the current situation, I made the squad rule. During squad times if it turns out to be an, I take ur base u take mine, we will certianly enguage and have some fun.
