I just bought it and will play it tonight for the first time.

Anyone here have it and wanna give a guy a few pointers?

got it and have 6 characters on it :)

very cool.

My only advice is dont use any electric damage i found it very under-powered.

My current characters are

TECHNOLOGY - Blaster - ASSAULT RIFLE/DEVICES (Karsus)
MUTANT - Blaster - ICE BLAST/ICE MANIPULATION (Narsus)
SCIENCE - Controller - GRAVITY CONTROL/KINETICS (Karras)
MAGIC - Controller - ICE CONTROL/STORM SUMMONING (Frozen Waste)
NATURAL - Scrapper - SPINES/REGENERATION (Toxic Decay)
SCIENCE - Defender - RADIATION/RADIATION (Galvatron)

all of them on the liberty server

also be patient with your builds, some take 20-30 levels to come into there own, and then they are awesome. COntrollers for instance become pretty awesome at 32nd level and are fairly tough to play till then.

I was up till 2am last night playing and then dreamed of encasing bad guys in ice!

ill wait till theres a free trial... head too many bad things about that game.  

once you get your flying abilities theres nothing to look forward to.

the fighting bad guys gets old really fast.

but i think CoV will be good if they can be on the same server as the CoH  :D

really?  On the way out the door at Best Buy, 3 different people saw the game in my hand and told me it was great.

Narsus, seems to think that higher lvls are pretty cool.  And I got flying at lvl 7, so maybe you just need to lvl a little more.

best selling game for the last three months, doom 3 will be for the next few obviously, people who dont have patience would probably not like this game. There are task force missions that run for hours alot of fun. honestly the game gets moving at lvl 20+ but fun till then.

CoV "WILL" run on the same server as CoH.

all of my friends have it as well, so lan partys galore ;)

you have hover now which is slow, flight is much faster travel power. what did you wind up making? what server are you on?
feel free to contact any of my characters above i am on most evenings, and have a variety of character levels. just let me know where you are from i am always up for teams.

Actually, I got the "Option" to fly at lvl 7 but didnt take it.  I took Combat jumping instead (think it was a mistake).

My first alt is a mutant, blaster that has Ice based skills.  I guess like yours.

I made it on Justice because I had problems loggin into Liberty.  I'll make one on Liberty tonight and diffenately look you up.

Question about flying....  how high can you end up flying?  Can you fly over buildings or is it just 10 or 20 feet above the ground?

There is a limit i am guessing here about 2000 feet, i've flown to the top of skyscrappers (where some battles later game take place), except for the very very tallest ones that are like 200 stories and you can fly no higher.

super jump is cool, 2 of my characters are taking it. it has the least amount of endurance to use it and it is pretty flexible. I like it more than super speed.

I have a couple 2nd level and 3rd level guys on liberty that i can party with ya, one is a defender and the other a controller.

I will most likely be initially on with Karsus tonight so contact him and i can join you a short time after that with one of the lowbies.
