Title: Thinking of an experment.

To see what happens, am considering locking all in threads in the General Discussion ,for a week if any of the following apear.


1. Any flame of some ones post, not a counter discusion, but a flame. Also flame baits.

2. Any personal attacks.

3. A whine, not a suggest ,critisim or view, but the over the top stuff.


What do you guys think is it worth a try to see if it changes the general flavor?

If it weren't for the hitech I'd believe it was a troll...

I would say it is a nifty idea, except the fact that if, for instance, there is a good discussion brewing in a thread then two folks start personally attacking one another, everyone would be punished for their indiscretions.  However, if it has reached this point, it may be worth looking into for the sake of possibly redefining policy.  It will be quite a bit more work for you guys.
