Title: Thinking of an experment. #2

To see what happens, am considering locking all in threads in the General Discussion ,for a week if any of the following apear.


1. Any flame of some ones post, not a counter discusion, but a flame. Also flame baits.

2. Any personal attacks.

3. A whine, not a suggest ,critisim or view, but the over the top stuff.


What do you guys think is it worth a try to see if it changes the general flavor?

Heh, just barely made it into the first post. Like I said there: I'll still read, no matter. It definitely would make me more aware of my tone when posting a reply.

I cancelled post twice because I wasn't sure what the correct answer was supposed to be. I suspect a yes.

So basically anyone will be able to get the forum shut down for a week at will?

Theoretically, I suppose. They'd have to do it a thread at a time. I suspect HT would ban them if it came to that.

I can imagine any number of disgruntled former forum members tripping over themselves to create shades accounts for the sole purpose of shutting down the boards.

Is it wise to put the fate of the forum in the hands of the miscreants?

So....... let me get this straight.
If this was in fact to become reality all of our quality flames, whines, criticisms, and bashing would have to be conducted on channel 200 in game? :D

Ra, that could easly be delt with if someone becomes a problem child.
