Last night I happened to witness a ROOK individual who I shot down (30 seconds before) appear on a KNIGHT runway below me and dissapear back to his side. The ROOK radar was destroyed (to my knowledge) and, I believe he used the "hop" to peer into my sides covert strike ongoing! I am not positive ROOK "radar" was down so I can't rightfully accuse him of cheating.
BOTTOM LINE:
When radar is down on your side, is it a "cheat" to hop to the other side and see whats going on, then hop back?
I SAY SO!
HiTech... I recommend disabling radar for someone who switched sides for a brief period of time to eliminate this "opportunity".
My two cents

This will change; there will be time limit on switching sides, i.e., if you switch sides, you can't change back for xxx [mins/hrs] (I think in WBs it's 24 hours).

I think WB's is only 10 minutes, I may be wrong, anyway, 10 -20 min. should be enough time.

Jarbo.
At the time you said that last night our radar had been up for a while.
If the person cheated it would be more likly that they looked at your radar..

The situation last night was that our radar was up and their radar (to my knowledge) was down. [A squadmate had struck it about 35 min earlier, i believe normal rebuild is 40 minutes on HQ]
Nevertheless, any individual can "hop" back and forth to see details of our radar to gain an advantage currently. I don't think this adds to fair gameplay.
