Now I wonder, have any of you guys heard anything ?
Like in blue `god mode`text, or anywhere else on the net ?

it's the Super Fortress, not Flying Fortress. That is the B17. Just thought you'd like to know. :D
-
I want to see B-29 in AH someday.
But, I don't want Nuclear bombs.
Unfair bomb. No fun.

Let's get 1.07 fixed first please.
-
the nuclear bombs available through the end of the war (all two of em) were actually pretty wimpy. the first hydrogen bomb, the ones that do real damage, wasn't available til 1949.
a 1945 style bomb with 3 kilos of pu-239 surrounded by a shell of about 3 kilos of u-235 would yield about 17 kilotons(i am guestimating, may be around 15-16k also). it would not affect more than the square it was exploded in. radiation wouldnt actually be that big of a deal from that size blast unless you were near it. in otherwords it wouldnt be offlimits for a thousand years or anyting. the biggest one from wwii was the nagasaki bomb at around 20kt so - it is nowhere near the hundreds of millions of tons of tnt equivalent blasts we are facing from modern weapons - these things comparitively were pop guns!
the effects of fallout and radiation would be tough to model though i suppose - they should have one anyway though because large explosions are cool, as is the idea of 'nuking' stuff.
make each of 100 players have to contribute 100 perkies each so the whole country has to pay for it collectively. you would rarely see it but it would be fun - and imagine the whines! :)

Hold the phone, people... Has anyone considered the ramifications of atomically-mutated sheep?
-
The atomic bomb could be made available to the winning side when the enemy is reduced to 2-3 fields. That way they could nuke them and force a fast reset. I think it would be better for both sides, no endless vulch-festival anymore with 2 fields open.
At least then you could point out the real vulch-pro's if they refuse to use the nuke.
-
Let's get back to the sheep thing again. Seams like a good idea to me, just think about it for a sec, Sheep with 2 behinds that don't run fast! Makes me wanna
just jump for joy:~

-
Thunder..it is a B-29 nose.
-
Looks a bit small for a b29 nose unless thats a REALY big monitor
-
Looks bout right for the front most piece, the 29 nose was a lot of (glass) but that looks like the very front most piece- and I love it (Druel) :D
If I may ask how much?
You are very lucky to have that, I hear they are not makeing them any longer.

<S> I got extremely lucky as the seller listed it under "B29" instead of B-29 and did not post a photo of the item. As a result (and perhaps due to the cost of shipping) only two other people bid on the nose and I was the high bidder at $232. :D
Since I was within driving distance I was able to save the $150-200 shipping fee, which was an additional score! My wife's approval (I told her after the fact ;)) was yet another stroke of luck...!
