Title: What's that ya say George?
Post by: crowMAW on August 06, 2004, 07:18:16 AM
Dumbya strikes again:

"Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we.  They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we."

Said while signing a military spending bill yesterday.  Funny, his senior staff is so accustomed to his moronic babbling that they didn't even flinch when he said it.

Dunno guys...who is more foolish...the fool or the fool that follows him? :rofl

Heard that on a local station. They dubbed his "won't get fooled again" line just before that one and had the Who's song playing in the background. Great stuff.

I think it's too close to call either way.

I'm certain that it won't be a "landslide" no matter who wins.

It's coming down to, like, Ohio and Florida...

Two of the most suck states in the universe ever.

Nash, don't be so hard on Ohio.  Ohio is the most perfect place in the entire world for 5 months out of the year.

NOTHING beats sitting the wifey on the front porch swing on a 70 degree August afternoon watching the puffy white clouds drift across the sky with the gentle summer breeze playing with the fields and the trees.   Where I live, some days horse traffic outnumbers car traffic, one-room schools dot the landscape, and the whistle of steam locomotives isn't an uncommon sound.

I haven't played AH in like two weeks just because it's so nice here this time of year.

Problem is, during the other 7 months Ohio is a cold gray slushy depressing hell.  But our summers almost make up for it.

Oh and our cities suck but that's the case for all large cities.  I cannot understand how anybody can ever be happy living in a city.

We do that in October but we eat the horses and carjack (trainjack?) the locomotives :D

Seriuosly - sounds beautiful.

You are home to the Buckeyes...

Surely this must rest uneasily on your mind like an unshakable pox.

I know everyone is saying it will be close, but in the end, I think this will be a 10 point election.

Wasn't Reagan/Mondale something like a 20 point split?

I guess the next question is... are we talking electoral votes or popular votes?
