Title: Salute! to JG2

Yesterday evening (GMT+1) Rook's 1° and 4° Stormo Caccia clashed with Knight's JG2 around F5 and F2.

It was a tuff fight with Macchi C.205's against Bf109G-(10?)'s and some RAF-USAAF irons. From 28K to the deck.

My signature is the original one from 97a Squadriglia, 9° Gruppo, 4°Stormo CT. Usually they painted it on their Macchi's and Fiat vertical stabs.

Moreover, some 10 years ago I had an HO with a red(!) car (I was walking). My left knee has been almost rebuilt, using about 250 internal stitches, 45 external steel clips and one titanium bolt. An iron leg ("gamba di ferro") is indeed appropriate  (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

It was a gas.
Still, the fondest memory for me was Hristo's taunt: "You haven't even seen my no-throttle rope-a-dope yet."
So, I decide to follow him up.
