Title: What are the plans for other "arenas"?
Post by: Ivedog on January 17, 2000, 05:30:00 PM
My apologies if this has been asked/answered before, but with the pay to play approaching, is there a general timeline set for offering historical arenas?

Personally, I think I'd probably hold off on paying for AH until such arenas exist.

Thanks!

There won't be anything like that on a 24/7 basis, at least for awhile.  We will offer specialized historical and ahistorical events in a separate arena ala warnights and mini-scenarios.  These will only be open during specific times however.  Details still have to be worked out.

Hi Pyro.

I suppose there is a whole bunch of aviators who are not able to pay the $30 a month, but would like to participate in historical events.  You said earlier that these special events may be billed separately.  Is it possible to pay just for these events?

Thanks,

Camo

Hmmm. Me suspects ole sourpuss Gadlfy here comes from the land of the frequent host reboot. Where the bloo sky renders massive warpage more than mortal combat. An atmosphere that reaks of bad beacon. The place where the servers don't.

Take care Cadfly. Say Hi to that old nasty inbreed iLZ for me ya here?

No secret there, my brother.  However, unlike a vocal few, I have had excellent connects for the past 2 years.

Re:  My comment above, I am in a squadron with Ivedog, and we fly historical missions in a historical arena.

So I repeat:  Ain't nuthin here for us, Ive.

LOL! You are living in a fool's paradise if you think it is only "a vocal few" having problems over in the other sim...

Djust came from the arena. . .

An HA is _not_ ruled out (an 24/7 one) they djust need more players first (HT´s words).

Im really glad to hear this  (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)
