Post by: Toad on August 09, 2004, 10:02:55 AM: I didn't/don't always agree with Keyes but I always did respect him for being pretty much a straight shooter.

Now this; isn't there ANYONE who can stick to their principles anymore?

What'd they call them post-Civil War? Carpetbaggers?

But what ticks me is Keyes turning against his own principles.

For what? He's got a decent job already.

I can't get elected to the office I want in my own state..so I'll go somewhere that I might have a chance to win and represent people and their issues that I no nothing about. When people let people like that get elected then they deserve what they get.
