i want " New Guinea"color ver. ki61
maybe w/o red tails , w/o blue & white line .
(only camo paturn, plz chose "68th FG"s tail marking ;)
because my attack is only "surprised-attack"
thats no need red tails ;)
i want
ki61" otu" (12.7mm x4) or
ki61" hei"(MG151/20x2 wing mount 12.7x2)
(i think "otu" & "hei " is a little shorter nose than "tei"(now ver.))
but i love now ver too. " 244th FG " Mr. T Kobayashi's color is cool :)
kisses :D

I love this KI's camouflage!

that's camoflage? what's it supposed to blend in with - a potatohouse or a bowl of spilt cap'n crunch (w/crunchberries of course)?

Getting squad colors would be awesome but with ICONS that scream HERE I AM! it plays a very little role in avoiding attack or sneaking up on someone.

Yeah this is where I miss AW's SAC utility. It allowed you to change the camo patterns on the planes on YOUR FE. That way you'd see the camo scheme you selected for the various planes. There were several nice ones for the Ki-61. Although AW didn't have one, the 109 doubled for it in scenarios. I think a SAC-like utility would be rather complex for AH as the planes here aren't rendered the same way. It'd be nice to change the scenery now and then tho. Maybe some day.

FYI: The "other" WWII online game has the Ki-61-1b with 68th Sentai markings and New Guinea camo.
4x12.7 mm MGs, no bomb load capabilities, fragile as an egg and slower than many allied planes of its timeframe. But still fun as heck.
The 68th Sentai didn't survive the war as a unit, though. They were obliterated by the USAAF.
