Looks like Charley will provide breezy conditions in Tampa, but I think Bonnie's gonna miss you.

I'm just glad it isn't us this time.  ;)

There is a run on Gas in South Florida.... many gas stations are closing now due to the fact they are running out of gas...
All bottled water is gone as well...
The weather talking heads told us this morning it could be Category 3 so panic has permeated our routine...
I need to get to a liquor store before the beer runs out, long weekend ahead ya know!!

Well, it would eliminate the election crap, and also the pesky Cuban immigration issues.

With any luck, Madonna/Esther/handsomehunk would be down there at the time, doesn't she have a home there?  Let the storm toss her into the everglades and let a gator eat her.  :D

St. Pats is a VERY small little pub that brews their own grog now. They don;t support homebrewer at all anymore. Maybe there was a reason for that? Austin Home brew is between my house and my office anyhow :D

Actually Charley in this case would be male since hurricane names alternate male to female A-Z every year.

People are fighting in line for gas across the street at a gas station. Fingers are flipping, metaphors are flying, car horns are honking, kinda like that movie "its a mad mad mad mad world"
Soehwere close a man is stealing a loaf of Marble rye from a little old condo owning lady...

I think I would rather have the hurricane over the earthquake any day.  At least you can predict hurricanes and prepare for them.

But that is the worst part, everyone gets all tense.

With quakes, you go "ohh.. earthquake".  Then you're either dead, or not.

my god you sir have no clue of what you speak.

you have more of a chance of dying in a hurricane than a earthquake.

Have you been in either Skull?

I've only been in hurricanes...no earthquake.

Earthquakes scare the daylight out of me.

Second only to tornados.

Of course hurricanes sometimes HAVE tornados in them, which blows my theory somewhat, but I would think more deaths result from earthquakes.

lol yes i have curval.

i lived through the 1993 Ridgecrest earthquake.  I dont remember but i think the Ridgecrest quake was a monster of like 6.5.  and many more quakes.  Personally i never feel htem anymore. Hell i slept through a 4.0 one time..  earthquakes,  harm 1/1000 of the amount of people that Hurricanes do.  You don't see a deadly 5.0> above ot often now adays.  i'd rather be in a earthquake than a hurricane.
