Really? Didn't know that! (I did not shoot this one, but I have shot pigs for dinner! Never got their name though, they'd usually leave the next morning..)

Blast ya Rip, now I'm hungry. it has been years since had a whole hog like that.
family got out of hog business in late 80's ,due to rising feed prices , falling pork prices. nowadays be hard pressed to find a hog farm anywhere near here.
now I'm gonna have to go on a trip looking for some.

But I don't recommend using a .22, I saw one take 2 @ 30-06 and 2 @ 7mm-mag hits to the head and fall slowly. We leaned that headshots on piggies (at least the wild ones we have) aren't as reliable as they are with the thinner skinned (and skulled) deer population. We're doing heart/lung shots now with much better success.
