Have the changes in AH2 motivated you to try other aircraft or vehicles? Did you use to fly the Spitfire Mk IX, but have now tried the P-51D because it helps you get closer to the enemy? Or maybe now the Spitfire Mk V because it gains angles better?
Have you noticed any changes in the way you fly? How about the way you attack ground vehicles?
Have you used ground vehicles more often. Different ones than before?
As most people have noticed, hitting is harder than it was before. This is especially true of the squirrley single engined fighters. For this reason, and because it is time for a change, I will be switching my main ride from the Mosquito to the Ki-84. I think that the Ki-84's manuverability coupled with it's probably decent speed will make the game more enjoyable for me than it has been lately.
Hunting GVs from the air seems harder now, especially when you don't know where they are. Spoting them can be tough. I still use the IL-2 for anti-GV work mostly, with the Mossie as backup if I need more speed and performance.
For GVs I still think the M8 is the most fun, in a suicidal way.

i started flying the Mossie alot when they fix the fuel

I've been flying the c202. It kicks bellybutton in AH2. :)
Killin GV with IL2 is as easy as ever, unless they hide under deep tree cover. IL2 still kicks bellybutton air to air.
LA7 doesnt have as much gas endurance as it used to have.

I just converted to the P 38 for AH2..It great!
-
i didnt convert, but the 38 feels like a new plane in AH2. does that count?:D

Nope, I still fly the same planes as in AH1.
-
fly the pony alot more, but the trim in it is different than ah1
-
I'm flying the FW190A5 alot more now. I've been looking at the D9 for the speed. AH2 seems to favor speed and cannons. More so how you would think WW2 must have gotten towards the end of 43 into 44.
If the Ki84 holds to our AW memories, I'll be taking a very close look at it.:)
-
Yeah, I've been flying the 109 a bunch. Mostly G6. Go figure.
-
I still fly the F4U types mainly no change in way I fly , just use more gas.
I find the F6F5 a much more pleasant plane to fly in AH2 than it was in AH1.
GVs are more fun, better scenery and battles for me........ even though I still can't get the ranging down fast enough
-
I still fly most planes I flew in AH1.
I was reading a Flying Tigers Diary by Bond, so I did a few sorties in a P40. Talk about a challenge in the MA lol. Still a fun plane tho.
-
Been trying out the 51D again--still very unsure how it handles but is deffinately better than AH1
-
I'm hoping to actually spend some time flying. Prolly have 2 hours in this tour..
May take a spin or two in the Hellcat. But then maybe not.
-
I used to fly the corsairs a lot but in AHII I can't hit anything in them, the nose bobs around too much. I have started flying the p47 a bit.
-
nope, still pretty much use the F4U as my main ride.
But fly just about all of them occasionally.

Nope...still a dweeb. Spit V.
Don't like tanks much at all.
AH2 and AH1 are still the same to me in the fact it is a fight. All I want to do really. Fight changes a bit but all in all...Spit v is all I fly. Just find I have to use more ammo than before.;)

"Have you changed rides going from AH1 to AH2? "
Of course, its like starting all over again for me. All the planes fly and shoot different than AH1. .

Nope, still fly the same old Uber plane I did in AH1.
ack-ack

Actually yes, I had trouble hitting with the la7 & yak9u cannons.
Somehow found out that the yak9T is a lot easier to hit with, well at least on a good day.
Its been my ride of choice pretty much since AH2 went gold.
Besides, its so DARN much fun to out HO the HO'ers.
:)
-
No, still fly the same stuff. P-51B mostly.
-
Still fly pretty much the same rides but I've added in the 109G6 and had some success with it, which I didn't have when I tried it in Ah1 many moons ago. Hard to say if it's the difference in flight model or me...
-
was flying Yak alot at end of AH1....have kinda gotten away from it.
I like the P47D-11 now and the F4U-1, both seem to offer more fun than they did (not that I flew them much at all in AH1)
Really, I'm back to the 109G10 it seems, which I had stopped flying so much in AH1 after using it almost exclusively for a long time. I think the learning curve is kickin my butt again.

I used to fly P47-D30 now I fly the P47-D40 :)
