I can imagine how hard it must be to come into the office every day, only to read many 'aggressive' bulletin board posts.
I think there are many of us out here who think Aces High continues to be an amazing game, and you folks do fine work.
-
yep.

My,my the next pair of pom poms is on me :aok

Its like I've always said. If you dont like what you are getting for your 15 bucks a month from Hitech. Then go try and find a better deal somewhere else.
They are not perfect. And yep, there are things I would change if given the opportunity, but they are in a league of their own when it comes to many things.
Again, call another company that puts a game out there for you to play over the net and try and get the CEO on the phone as easily as you can get a hold of Dale. You wont find another that I can guarantee. And someone who will sit there talking to you for 20+ minutes about something you are concerned about when he has a million other things to do in his day.
Good luck.
If you dont like the way things are going and think you aren't getting your "moneys worth" then just please move on to something else. I had to change along with the game, so does everyone else. If you feel that you cant than maybe it is time for you to find something else to play in your free time.
-
Yup, although I haven't liked some of the changes (75% fuel, no night), they have strived to constantly improve and adapt the game and for that I thank them.
-
The game will always be a work in progress. I think overall HTC does one helluva job.

Every game has its warts, but I agree completly, they do an
outstanding job.

The whines are quite loud these days. The numbers seem more even the last couple of days (go figure). Keep up the good work HTC and take heart, there are plenty of us out here who appreciate the hard work and great game.

as long as they give me new targets I keep paying

It is most of the time a thankless job.

I'm sure they've got bigger things to worry about. From what I understand HT has been around this scene for years and years.
I'm sure that not much could be said he and HT crew haven't seen before.
Except for maybe the babelfish translator :)

yes it is a dam fun game...
but i want to defend HQ in 163 at ANYTIME
besides tht..i love it
another 15 buks for u HTC crew
-
Hey that is true about the 163 .
I like the new system but HQ defens is special.
If they removed the HQ aspect from the game, I be happy :aok
But this is a WTG HTC thread so.
WTG HTC :aok

HT Stop into that cabalas close to you guys.
Pick up a couple dozen ear plugs.
May want to buy a case or 2 of beerwhile your at it. While we are on the subject, why not pick up some food & take the whole crew out for a picnic? Sunshine, beer, food, earplugs, should be a nice QUIET day.
Let these SOB's Whine themselves out for a while.
Keep up the good work HTC!
-
It's obvious you care immensely about this product, and I know I start fuming when people attack things I've given my utmost for.
Thanks for puttin' up with us -- the good, the bad, and the .

Whines are one thing, pry posted by guys that love the game and get frustrated when the fun they were having gets changed. That's natural. Whether that's flying a P51 exclusive in a Squad made for that, or planes they like to fly that now are not available, etc...
That's fine, and can get annoying, but what have you ever posted, that was constructive criticism of HTC game play Ghosth?
Your quick to dog pile on the whiners, and you add what? Nothing, but meaningless lip service. You just kneepad ever thread you can, and make sure you blindly support HTC and mouth off on any thread which a player is frustrated with the game they play, the one you play too. But your all knowing of course.
I try to stay out of the General Discussion because I figure if I chose to cancel, I don't have a real say in gameplay, or on AH as a whole. But I'm not the only one sitting in the weeds after being a paying member for 3 or 4 years, waiting for AH2 to work out bugs and come of age, so I can rejoin and enjoy this game I really loved to play.
You do nothing to help this. You just add to the confusion.
-
HTC does an awesome job.
The fact that so much effort goes into updating the product on an ongoing basis makes me think that despite hiccups this game can only get better.
Keep it up guys, consider the whines an expression of how important this game is to people. If it weren't people wouldn't whine so passionately about it.
:aok
-
I agree. I've only recently come back to AH after about a year off. It's great having a game that you can start up and be on equal footing with everyone else playing. Well, not exactly equal footing as I'm really out of practice :) No time sinks and exp grinds, just playing.
-
Enjoying the game, HT.
WTG.
