How about it, any of you skin designers want to do this one?

I'll definitely do this one. There's a nice section of Australia in the New Guinea map that's in the works. :)

Awesome! Thanks Dux.

I wouldve given it a shot, but I cant compete with the master. :)

This makes me sad to hear... it's not about competing, it's about fun. Please do your own version if you think you'd enjoy it!
At the very least, you'll end up with a template for making other P-40E skins. :) (a very good thing!)

I didnt mean it as a competiton, but as a compliment. :) There are so many P-40E skins that im sure theres one out there just calling for me to skin it. Besides, I enjoy skinning anything, no matter what it is!

So has anybody made any progress on this skin?

its a friggin trainer, though maybe fun to skin it would be lame to have it in the MA in my opinion.
bare metal p-40s didn't see action in ww2. they were trainers by that time. especially p-40E's

I think you are right about the E Models and no bare metal, but the 7th FS, 49th FG did have some front line natural metal P40Ns right at the end of their use of the P40 before transitioning to the P38.
Not many, but some :)
