This document is amazing. Christianity spread in Georgia in 4 A.D.!
Georgians were Christians when Jesus was only 4 years old! They want to celebrate 2000 years of Christianity in Georgia in 2004. :aok

They must be pretty gullible to fall for it so early...

Ummm...is that really possible?
Christianity BEGAN when Jesus was a bit older than 4 years old.
I think the Georgians are doing a Soviet style revion of history.
-
impossible, everyone knows Georgia became a state on Jan. 2, 1788 :)

Cool Boroda, are you going to attend the festivities? Eagler, Boroda was talking about Soviet Georgia.
Jesus' coming was prophesied in the Bible's Old Testament. There were Christians before Jesus was born, so I can see it entirely possible that Georgians from Russia might have even been one of the wise men. I don't know, but in any case, there is nothing unusual about the timeline, if that's up for debate.
Not sure I understand your motives in the post Boroda. Again we have very different cultures. Are you planning on attending the events?

That would be four years after the resurrection and ascension of Jesus. That would make it entirely plausible. Andrew the apostle did not begin his public ministry until after that. The year 1 A.D. was Jesus' 33rd year incarnate.

storch,
Nope. Jesus was one year old in 1AD. There is not a thirty odd year blank space in the dating system we use and Jesus was not born in 34BC.
