Idea.
Create five factories for each country. Each will be for the top five planes that everyone loves/hates...la7/spit9/190d9/etc
Factory blows up, no one gets those planes for an hour for that country.
You don't like me idea do you? I do.

i liked spit factories in aw and i would like plane factories here.

As long as everybody has the chance of losing their factory and planes...sounds good to me.

I like the idea, but I don't think it would go over very well with the rest of the community.

I've always been in favor of this idea
Wiht all the calls for more realism and the strides taken to achive this goal in other areas.
I never understood why this isnt implemented

All the more reason to defend such areas.
Bet people would try to defend these factories ten times more then most people defend HQ now

They have a similar system in Fighter Ace.
Factories produce parts to build all vehicles, and plants produce ammunition and weapons for the planes/vehicles and troops.
Now, there's a "tick" every now and then (forgot the exact time, as I haven't played FA in more than a year), and each tick produces said equipment.
If you lose a factory, you can't have vehicles. And if you lose a plant, you don't have as much ammo for your planes.
It's a good system, but for AH, it would need serious tweaking. Factories for planes would be necessary, and for the late-war power planes, more time would be needed to make them.
Take a 109G-6. Say it takes, oh, a minute to make 25 from a single factory. Now, take a P-51D. That would take a minute to make 10 from a single factory.
It's a rough idea, and if it were to be implemented into gameplay, I'm sure it would be fine-tuned.

Destroyable factories would render countrys that have only 3 or 4 bases left to a big disadvantage since they cant defend them.

and that means the last 4 base strugle will end quicker...which is normaly good. afterall most people hate only having 4 bases to up from, getting that part over with faster makes sence

I always like the challenge of trying to destroy the ammo/fueldepots/spit factories in AW. I don't see why it wouldn't be a good idea in AH. I'd think it would add to the game stratedgy/ strategery/ strategie.........gameplay.

One prob Overlag whats to stop a country with superior numbers just clobbering the factories at any time during the game?
Point in question - If you can put up a load of buffs for HQ (personally i've seen 20 - 30 flights) it only takes 1 flight to get through.
So what happens is 1 country just goes round trashing the factories.

its a percentage thing tho, i very rarely see factories at 0% unless they are right next to an nme base miles away from any defence. Wouldnt this add more twist to the game? I for one love upping to intercept bombers, but most bombers in this game are at 200feet :rolleyes: :mad:

Have the factories belong to a neutral nation that is supplying the war materials to the three warring nations. If the factories get bombed all three nations lose access to those aircraft and the country that bombed the factory loses access to all of the "factoried" aircraft.
No, I don't like this idea, but I thought I'd give my two cents.

Would it be possible to program the puffy ack to become more deadly around factories and HQ as the imbalance of countrys change? Probably a programming nightmare so, if not, don't beat me up too badly :)
