Title: showing off....
Post by: mechanic on August 19, 2004, 11:39:56 AM
i posted recently asking if anyone had fun with their films and screen shots to remember good sorties.

here is a half finnished comic strip detailing a recent defence mission last week with myself and a squaddie.

anyone else like to post something that is 'a little more than a screen shot' please do as i would love to connect with similar thinking creative minds.

i think its lost some quality because to fit it on our squad website our web genius has to put them into .gif format.

at present none of the originals are on the site so i cant post them but i shall see if i can find one or two to show.

the originals on my PC are in .BMP format and they look stunning :)

but in honesty nothing i have done is very skillfull, simply take some screen shots form the film viewer and paste them into MS Paint. you can then create a larger paint file to pastee them into a comic style order. there are also better programs for this but i am a total PC moron..... :lol

EDIT: here is one of the originals. but still in .gif format im affraid.

Hi mechanic.

convert the originals from bmp to jpg

the loss of quallity is much smaller and its about the same size as a gif format

just edit the image in MS paint or anyother point 'n click image designer.

does add a great touch to a screen shot though eh? :)

That was fun!
I like the width of the "next week" one, I didn't have to scroll to side.

if anyone wants me to create and post comic style records of their favorite missions then feel free to send me film or screen shots with a brief description.
