I had made a previous post suggesting that HiTech program a quantum singularity to create a rift in time / space and solve lag issues in game.
When I saw this I thought to myself, My GOD he DID IT!
Big White square with multiple concentric circles looking much like a big white target. It seemed to move with my ship, and later when I re-spawned in an Osti it persisted. I was able to shoot it, and leave black marks. This object also intercepted any rounds sent to aircaft. When I was killed in the Osti, and my computer rebooted immediatly after respawning. I could hit planes with the osti during this time, but they recieved ZERO damage.

It looks like you turned on the target. Did you or did it just appear?
To turn it off type .target 0
-
I can reproduce that. .target 600<--hit enter.:)

Omfg I am so stupid sometimes...
Yea, For some reason I thought .target would possibly set your convergence inflight.
Learn something new everyday... Now can someone delete this post please? Lol

Way to good a bug to delete:)

Hey he has a good idea, Hitech could we have a consol command to reset convergence in flight??:D

But that seems too much like deciding between bombs or drop tanks or 25% fuel inflight, then back to 100% Fuel...

that would be the DOT target command
as in
.target 350
creating a target 350 yards from you to the direect north.
it would always be 350 yards from you (whatever distance you type) to the DUE north.
to remove it type (as in a DOT command i assume you are aware of)
.target 0
making the distance 0, thus voiding the "target" in witch to "practice" on.
hope that helps
