It's come to my attention that, like Aces High, several other games seem to have an inherint unfairness built in to them. Therefore, as of today I have instituted the following changes in the following pasttimes.
Football _ It struck me 10 seconds ago that it seems unfair to me that one side can score a goal while the other side cannot. After much thought I've decided that if a team is advancing down the field it loses one player for every 10 yards gained. I tried it, and nobody on the side that was losing ground complained, so it must be fair.
Baseball _ I banged my knee the other day and my foot jerked. As a result, I have instituted the following changes in this very unfair game. Like football, the winning team loses one player for each homerun scored. But, since that was not enough to keep one team from occasionally winning, I have also decided that if the score continues unbalanced, the side with the most runs must surrender their gloves and bats to give the other side a fair shot. Again, I have tried these new rules out, and the side that had been losing assures me they are a stroke of genius and very, very fair. Of course, those whiners on the other side complain that they have been put at a very unfair disadvantage. Why can't they shut up and play what I now call baseball?
I'm now going to turn my attention to basketball. I plan on giving much thought to how to make this game more fair. Give me a few seconds and I'm sure I'll come up with something...

Odd you would pick rule intensive sports where the teams are forced to play with EXACTLY even numbers - and are penalized when they don't

You are looking at this all wrong. Instead of taking away players from the advancing team you must add players to them, and then take away their Nike cleats and replace them with A pair of high heels. That way the team with the numbers advantage dont have an equipment advantage to go with it.
LOL....rooks in high heels:rofl :rofl

I have to admit though, football would be much more interesting with three teams on the field, and as many players as you can fit :)

FootBall:
Just put 1 more player on the field than what is allowed under the rules to cause an unfair/outnumbered advantage and you will be penalized 5 yards.
The line of scrimmage will be moved 5 yards in either direction to benefit the team that had the correct amount of players on the field.
Baseball:
Play will not be allowed to continue if one team has more than 9 players on the field.
BasketBall:
Play will not be allowed to continue if either team has more than 5 players on the court.
Hockey:
Play will not be allowed to continue if either team has more than 6 players on the ice. If during play, a 7th player is caught on the ice, there will be a penalty and the team that caused the imbalance will now be force to play with only 5 players on the ice while the 6th player sits in the penalty box.
Comparing Aces High to organized sport is like comparing pigs and turkeys
... and if you did OWN football or baseball, you could institute those rules, and if people didn't like those rules, they could just quit the sport, or they could just deal with.

baine1, first is this your in game handle/id? just curious.
second,
if the bish had the ability to have overwhelming numbers, or knights for that matter, and was allowed to fly plane of choice, and the rooks were dealt less people than the other 2, the rook side would be throwing up all the whines/complaints.
If this new system was imposed on the bish for being overwhelming then they would be complaining, and same goes for the knights if they was in this situation.
The way it works right now is that it affects which ever country is loaded with players, and it has affected all 3 countries at different times.
so really there is nothing to complain about. you agreed to play the game the way htc has it setup, ( TOS terms of service), and TOS's change from time to time, and when they do you either agree to play by the changes or don't and go play somewhere else. All online games have been this way from the beginning, and they will remain so.
So in the end all you doing is complaining to a Dead Log cause noone is listening.
change is hard to accept for most, but we all accept it even though we do not like it.
You need some validity to your complaint, right now most of use do not see any validation to it.
