Title: Time to go read a book

Do not know if its the current terrain or the switching on of the auto skin downloads but as is for the last 2 days gameplay for me has gone down the drain.
No fun currently.
Lot of lag and freeze framing, been killed more in last 2 days than whole of month to date.
Any evasive moves i make are completely mistimed hence losing wings tail etc with monotonous regularity.
Gonna go read a book and leave comp connected to AH in the hope the auto download will finish and see if game improves.
Btw checked traceroute all looks normal.

Reminds me how it was before we had the option to control updates per frame or whatever it was. Where you could alter it from 5 down to 1.

i agree. im having terrible screen freezes as well

Experianced ALOT of screen freezes last night (friday) but cant blame it on the terrain as  everything ran smooth as silk even in a large fight on the very same terrain in the very same area of the map the night before.

I was  getting  lag  and small  scren freezes  before  they started  to load  the  skins.
  I  think it depwnds  how  you have  your  grahics  for this  map.
   there  is  a lot  of info for the  card  and memory  to sort  on this  large  map  down  low  .with all the trees  and other bits

everything is turned as low as it goes for preformance. even using omega drivers and i still freeze up right when it matters the most:confused:
