Boy I can add this to my list of things: "you havnt lived until"
You've changed a thermostat 200 miles from home in a parking lot with nothing but a hotel trashcan, adjustable wrench, and screwdriver.
Gotta say it was a fun weekend cept for that goin bad on us during our trip and me being too cheap to let somone else do it.
ok so what did I miss this weekend?

lol, reminds me of what a friend said to me years ago. "You're the only person I know that can take an engine apart with a screwdriver and a pair of vice grips."

I had a broken thermostat. Had to take it out to keep from overheating. I had a screwdriver, adjustable wrench, and no gasket to re-seal the thermostat housing. I made a gasket out of a piece of the Navy issue rain gear I had "aquired" some time before. Forgot about that temp. fix for almost 6 months and the rain gear didn't leak a drop.
