Title: some bugs i found 8-23-04
Post by: JB73 on August 23, 2004, 11:26:02 PM
first off here is a pic of a zone bug on the ozkansas map. the zone shows comming from P109, though the strats attached are not ours, later we found A125 actually controls the strats.

next is a GV bug. while defending a Vbase, an attacking tank came along. here he is shown behing the building. i can see through but shooting i hit the building. i was stationary and on a level terrain i believe.

next, IIRC when the perk modifer first came out there was a bug where if you took up a perk ride, got kills, then died the perks you gathered would acctually count against you. i can't verify this, but i did take this tiger up for only about 5 minutes maybe less. i thought when i took off it cost about 37-39 perks. i got 8 kills this sortie. when i was killed i was down more perks than the tiger currently cost, and like i said it was only like a 5 min sortie. the numbers could have changed, but not that much to negate more than 8 kills plus. here's 2 pick. 1 wit the kill showing, one with a clearer view of the hangar cost

lastly here is a pic i posted a while back. it shows the "smoke" from a damaged CV. it just doesnt look right, almost too big or closer than it really is. well i found out tonihgt that it only looks like that from behind. if viewed from maybe a 90 path in front it looks kind of like what it should. hard to explain, so try it.

hope those help

I think the smoke is like that because of the speed of the carrier and the fact that it's turning.
