I have witnessed this more than once now, I also took some film of it, the others flying with me also have witnessed this.
It seems that we have different views of time and space, I watched a squadie land in front of the CV, I then landed about 300 behind them yet in our views we both caught the rope.
Strange Stuff.

I've seen this a few times and have some screenshots, will post tomorrow.

Here are a few screen shots to show what I saw occasioinally.
One would think it would be tough to hit the CV if 'we' see it in different places. Then again it only matters what you see on yoiur FE I guess.

Thats what I have also....so would this explain a rubber bullet syndrom I have been having...do I need to shoot 300 feet behind me? this also may explain while in a HO I pass the other plane then hear the hits. or see them blow up behind me when it used to be in front of me.

I think that would be more lag related on the hits after the pass. Remember alot depends what you see on your FE, Front End- the part of AH2 running on your computer. The guys we see off the cv are on the cv from their view.
