In my eternal quest to moblize my simpit,
I have been able to find a way to out put pitch, yaw, roll, and accl/decell movment commands to my moblizer the moblizer is a pivot point mounted on a platform, wich platform is mounted on a base. this gives me side to side forward and back pitch and roll controlled by servos
What I need now is a way to control up and down. mechanicaly I am going to mout the base on top of another base with pnumatic cyls to lift the whole assy up and down. How ever there is no place where my Game control set up will allow me to genarate commands from them. After some extended consideration I am wondering if the force feedback outputs could do this for me?
Sooo where can I get a list of FFB commands out put by the front end? And are these commands sent all the time or must they be enabled by by selecting them in the control section of the clip board?
Most wanted commands are the "Bump" of rolling down the runway, gun fire vibration, the thump of gear doors closing, the "push" of lift off, and the "drop" of landing.
total projected cost of the moblizer is less than a $1000.00, mabey much less depending on the cost of the servos <8 needed and the biggest expence if bought new>
Right now I am working on the control setup using lights to indicate out puts to the moblizerand a variable resistor to generate the analog input to the P-board. If any one wants the plans to this "Goldburgian" thing, let me know and I'll put them up.
