Title: Ditching GV

does anyone else think its BS that u can ditch a tiger on ur base while siting right next to the tower and loose 47 perks HT please change it so that if ur within1.5 or 2k of ur tower in a GV u land and not ditch other day i was difending a base and pulled outa the vh and turned about 2ft off the road killed the pnzr that was attacking our base and hit tower and ditched i was so close if i turned my turret around i could have touched the VH.

I think that happens because there was a enmy tank around. Not sure tho.

I've always thought the ditching/landing rules were far too stringent. Let's face it, most forward combat airfields were little more than flattened dirt strips and even grassy field areas in some cases. I have always though that ending a mission in anything should be considered landing if it's within the area of a circle that extends from the far edge of the town to the far edge of the field with perhaps a 1k yard margin around the circle. It just doesn't make any sense to be sitting next to your hanger or whatever and not be considered landing safely simply because you happen to not come to rest on a 'paved' area. Heck up until a year ago, we could even land safely at ENEMY fields, I think the restrictions should be loosened at or near friendly fields.

its hasent changed iv landed gvs on eveny fields and town by only on paved areas i get capured only when on grass.

GV Landings is a strange one to me. Is there any rules in affect with GV's. Sometimes its ok to End mission on the grass sometimes its not. I have taken a LTV from the CV, captured the field, ended the mission next to the Map room and get a Ditch.

I Successfully landed an M16 5k from the base while sitting in the Ocean. And have also gotten ditches while sitting 50ft from the VH.
