Hi all,
Well, I went and bought some rudder pedals, and only one problem: I really wish I could figure out how to have the X and Y axis control the rudder instead of the Z axis.
I can't seem to get this to work, I can only get one of the two axis to (somewhat) work. Any ideas? Is this even possible?
Thanks,

You can make a map in the Chmanager program to assign the toe brake to any command you want.

I have my CH Pro pedals assigned directly through AHII. You can assign both the rudder axis and the toe brakes. Go into stick set up and you can set your left brake and right brake to your rudder pedals. I believe I used some dead band on the toe brakes to help prevent accidental application.

Aargh! I cannot stand these sliding ch pro rudders
And since, when I'm taxi-ing, I want the rudder and brakes to do the same turn, how, exactly, do I set this up?
In other words, I want I want to rotate the rudder pedal for yaw; (not slide it) and, I wouldn't mind if my new rotating rudder pedal engaged the brakes.
Duh.
How to?

Since the toe brakes are seperate axis.
left toe x
right toe y
rudder z
I dont think you can do what you want unless you want the whole rudder mapped to one toe.

Why on Earth would ya want to do something so un-natural and un-realistic?

Vudak,
Fly right. :) Someday when you're flying a real airplane, you'll be happy your rudder pedals weren't all messed up. I couldn't hit sheet with mine when I first got them, but now I'm so used to them I can't imagine flying without them. Took about 2 weeks to get decent with them, and maybe 2 months until they were completely second nature.
That being said, there may be a way to blend the two axis (X and Y) in control manager. However, since it's two axis (wtf is the plural of axis?) there's no way to do it in AH. You'd need the third-party CH manager program, but no guarantees that you can even do it in there.
