I saw those pictures before and discussed them in another thread with Kev367th who was working onthe same skin. We both noticed that most of our sources had the squadron codes in black, not the blue shown. But, after looking at some more pictures I have noticed that the real WWII pictures are blue, so I guess I'll go with the blue.
I'll post a picture tomorrow with the corrected colors and see if thats any better.
Thanks ramzey.:)

Nice skin United.

EN315 ZX-6 was flown by almost all the pilot's of "Skalski's Circus", which was a flight of experienced Polish pilots attached to 145 Squadron in North Africa.
Both Eugeniusz Horbaczewski and Meiczyslaw Popek scored their fifth kills in it to become aces and it was flown often by A Flight Commander F/L Hesketh.
From the book "Polish Aces of WW2"

Was reading it didn't have the usual Azure BLue undersurfaces, instead it was Light Mediterrean Blue. (RGB 101,130,154)
Would imagine that this is the blue in the squadron code also.

I used an extra dark sea gray from flugzeugwerk.net. I will go back and look at it today when I change the squadron codes.
-
Welp, my Serif thing has expired and the register phone number doesnt work, so I guess this skin is done. Ill try the register number later to see if its back up, but if not then this one is finished and ill have to use a PSP trial.
-
Got my Serif all sorted out, and I think I hit the nail on the head this time.
What I got after suggestions:
Changed the squadron code colors, edited them to look more realistic.
Added rivets to where they were more visible than other places. Also added rivets on forward fuselage where I forgot to make them.
Changed the bottom camo to the azure blue it really was, but I think it looks almost too purple. Should I stay with the azure or go a little more gray?

Anyone else have any suggestions on how I could make it better?
-
Got panel lines and river layers for spit 9 if you want them.

-
Actually, i wouldnt mind the rivet layer. If you would please send it to b_nicely_united@yahoo.com.
-
Can you use a photoshop layer, to maintain transparency?
I assume I remove spaces in your email address?
-
Yes, I have PSP, so I can copy from there over to Serif. And no, leave the spaces in my email. Its b(underscore)nicely(underscore)united@yahoo.com
-
Just got em, thanks Kev!
-
Your welcome.
Included panel layer in case there is mismatch.
Just line up the red squares on top right of my layers with top right of your image layers. Should be fine.
-
Updated with Kev's wonderful rivet template he sent me. Thanks!

We should post ahead of time what we are working on so we dont end up doing the same skin again, hehe.
:edit: DOH! Was logging off for the night on my desktop and went to save this new skin, a message window popped up and i automaticaly hit yes. Turns out I saved it as a 256 color bitmap, so now I have to redo the entire skin.
I had done the basic camo, RAF markings, panel lines, and invasion stripes.:(
Oh well, theres no time limit!
-
Enjoy doing the DDay stripes, theyre a nightmare!!!
Two I'm working on are the one in previous post and
