having just been shot down by granger  (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif).nice one BTW...he made a comment about my gear being down.
now i know they werent (red lights in cockpit)and someone sugested this was a bug..now it could be.
then we got chatting afterwards, and thought it would be a cool idea if when you get your hydraulics shot up something like this could happen, but it would be a random thing as to which gear came down. it could then be shot off or broken for landings..
i remeber seeing some RL guncam footage of thing kinda thing happening.

just a thought..

Wasn't dropping gear in a fight in some cases the equivalent of raising the white flag?

I use landing gear for air brakes occasionaly.  I am not sure if it works as such, but it should.

The breaking of gear is not modeled yet, so not sure how long I can continued doing this.
