Anyone seen this?
Sitting on the runway or in level flight FPS jumping from around 45 to 170 and back and forth, I would expect some flux but this is a bit much.
system config & specs are:
P4 3.4 & GF6800 GT 256mb I am running AHII @ 1600 x 1200 32 bit, this happens with either 512 or 1024 mb textures detail setting is maxed out (i.e. all the way to the left for all 3 sliders)

You haven't stated whether or not other moving objects were around you at the time. The more there are, the FPS will drop
considerably.

Why do you care? I only notice the difference below 20 FR. So I run at 30-80 FR. No point in having an FR of 140 when the eye refreshes at around 30 max. But hey, I'm in rant mode, feel free to beat me with blunt objects :D :aok :D :rofl

resolved...
switched to the 61.77 drivers, FPS is now stable @ 68-75
