Title: Gum off leather shoes?
Post by: BlckMgk on August 26, 2004, 01:08:27 PM
Anyone?

I don't know how it ended up there but coming out of lunch today I had gum on top of my shoe. It was a nice fresh piece too, but it had stuck to my shoe with much eagerness, and now I have gum on top of my shoe.

Anyone know a leather cleaner that will remove this? Or any other method?

Put your shoe in the freezer, chill for 2hrs or so, apply penny and scrape.

And if the SO looks in the fridge, just tell her you are having 'filet of sole' later that night.

I got gum on top of my dress shoes. Took a sharp knife and scraped it off. being carefull not to take a big chunk out of the leather. Then polished em. Good as new.
