"Legal" wasn't listed as an occupation on the first screen. Discrimination!
I immediately became suspicious, which wasn't listed as a trait on the next screen either.
Having two screens that didn't apply to me shattered my self-esteem, which was being calculated on the third screen.
I immediately distanced myself from other people, which was discussed on the fourth screen.
Since I had broken off relations with my peers, I couldn't answer the fifth screen, continuing my downward spiral.
By the seventh screen, I wished I was more like my officemate, who lives alone with two cats and has no outside hobbies to speak of and no expectation of promotion at work.
And then I pressed "Continue" and saw a "Thank you" message that lifted me from my funk and brightened my mood. At least I can say that I accomplished something today! :)

Guys, you are just GREAT! Thank you very much! :):):)
-->gofaster: Oh, dear... Did I forget to add a footnote like: "Authors of this research do not take responsibility for any traumatic experiences caused by completing these questionnaires"? :D Silly, silly me! :D BIG THANKS for not giving up.

Are you going to post your results of the test?

The tests are for my M.A. exam. By June I should have all the data from american and (hopefully) japanese version studied and the project written and completed. Then I may translate it to english and post.
Small problem is that M.A. projects are between 45-50 pages. Who would have enough coffee to get through it all?! :D Still I could post an abstract. :) I owe you all some feeedback and a proof that your time spent on the questionnaires wasn't totally wasted. ;)

I tried to do it at work yesterday, and got bored. I went home and drank a few... then ended up doing the questionnaire. That probably skewed some of the results by a lot.
Was there really a page in there that was a duplicate of the second page, or did I imagine that?

I think the one you are talking about was where it basically asked you the same questions only the second time you were supposed to evaluate a 'peer' and not yourself.

Directions are not my friend.

i'd recommend changing the header of that page where it repeats questions, about about a peer.
make the header LARGE text so people dont miss those instructions.
just an idea
good luck

now thats a quote worth saving.
it's right up there with a t-shirt my wife bought me.
I wore it to the blue-print reading and lay-out portion of a work related competition I was in a few years back, it seemed appropriate for the situation, with the caption-
"real men don't need instructions"
-
I did it..
Suprised there was no Patriotic one, I gues Loyalty could be used as that..

Yes, but look at this contribution pool.......her results from this group will lead to a high error factor!

Really..there's almost no moderates on this board..good thing it was a survey on politics...and we all spend too much time on our computers so we can't be too right in the head.:D

Not to worry, the samples will be balanced. I must be the normal dispersion to get reasonable statistics. :)
