OOPs, hiya skuzzy. I'm sorry for posting a topic at wrong forum.
I just e-mailed to my ISP about forgotten login ID/password.
It will take 2 weeks, so I'll seek some free FTP servers.
BTW msc200full.zip file size is 35MB.

If you need download hosting, we have a dedicated server at Speedgeezers which has sheep-loads of space and bandwidth. We host huge GPL tracks and sounds and mods on there ... so we're rigged for the kind of stuff you work on.

If I can get hold of this file someplace I'll mirror it if nothing else.

Yes, please modify your sounds folder as "sounds_b" or etc for backup.
Download my sound zip file, decompress it, and cut and paste "sounds" folder to Aces High II directory.

Again, thank you for help, DoKGonZo.

Here is URL to download Mitsu's Sounds Collection Version 2.0
http://www.speedgeezers.com/~aceshigh/msc.html

This file is compressed as ZIP, after downloading, decompress it and cut and paste "sounds" folder to Aces High II directory.

Do not overwrite the folder, please delete or back up your original Aces High II\sounds folder before pasting.

I recommend you change original sound folder to "sounds_b".

Mitsu (and Dok),  mucho gracias. MUCHO!

Mitsu.  IMO you should have a lifetime free account in AH with all the work you've put into this over the past few years. The community, and imo HTC, are indeed indebted to you.

Hehe ... yeah ... our ISP has a great connect.

If this situation arises again with other sound packs or add-ons, I'll install a proper upload manager so guys like Mitsu can track how many times their stuff was downloaded. There just wasn't time last night.

Just FYI ... I've installed a little download manager which will log traffic. The link Mitsu put up still works, it just redirects to the new system.

Mitsu,

You're Mossie engine sound is set like a low powered bomber.  The Mossie was powered by Merlins, just like the Spit, Hurri and P-51B/D with the same boost ratings.

You want a sound like this?
http://avanimation.avsupport.com/sound/Mosquito.wav

I thought my mossy eng sound is close to it though...anyway I'd try improve it. thanks.

Sorry, but I do not have an internet connection at home now.  I just moved and am awaiting the DSL installation.  My work PC has no sound.

What I do in AH is simply use the same sound for all Merlin aircraft.  The game positions it at the correct source.  In the case of the Mossie it puts a engine sound source on each side of the cockpit.

Excellent Work Mitsu!  Waffles Sound Pack and yours are both excellent collections... makes it hard to choose!!  Thanks for all your efforts and also to the mirror in Germany... The speedgeezer script kept timing out on me ald always give a filesize of 0 bytes when it finally did fail.

No idea why ... this is the first problem I've heard of ... it does a straight http transfer. Possibly your ISP has some gateway issues ... we've seen that before with the race sim stuff we host.
