I don't know how to explain when or how it's happening, but lately I'm noticing that during a flight, my mouse buttons will no longer work when clicking on the map to bring up base status, etc. There is no telling when it will happen, it will just stop working during the flight. The mouse itself is working fine as I can move the map around inside the clipboard or move the clipboard itself. I just can no longer click on a base to highlight it or right-click on the map.
Once I'm back to the tower... everything works once again

You have your mouse mapped to some input in the select joystick setup
-
Or you've made your text buffer transparent and it's stopping the mouse click from going through to the clipboard when you click on it.

I actually noticed this a few times myself. Next flight it worked ok though. Then again, stuff I type in the text buffer comes out backwards at times too.
Example, I type "like this?" and it is displayed "?siht ekil"
I figured out how it happens though. If I open message window and then hold my throttle hat switch to look left and begin typing it comes out backwards.
To my knowledge I have nothing mapped to the mouse.
Maybe I spend too much time in the dipsy-doodles.

This still doesnt work for me. And I did find a mouse selected in the select joystick menu like Hitech said, I fixed it but still no luck. Maybe i have to reboot?
-
Just move your mouse pointer over the map and press u. Should fix it.
This not being able to click on map has somehow to do with bombsite calibration mode. (works not only in bombers btw...). If you are in calibration mode or didnt leave it when leaving the f6 view, the result is the above. Maybe it has to do with the setting of the target alt from old days calibration?
~ do i sound confusing? ~

You got it Schatzi, this thing was driving me crazy for about six months before I tied it into the bomb calibration key.
