Expect ALOT of protesters like the anti GOPs, moderate and extreme lefties, liberals, pro Skerries, Bush-Whackers, and ect on RNC Aug 30, 2004 at Madison Square Gardern Arena in NY.

Looks like a normal NY morning, eh?
-
Get ready? Theyve already arrested more dirty hippy protesters in NYC than they did during the entire DNC week in Boston.
Might be an unfair comparison though... if Kerry actually had a platform Im sure someone would end up protesting it.
-
Everyone is amazed at how many protestors are going to NYC. They think it's bad for the RNC.
However, I smell something else. Fear. All these people wouldn't show up if they were confident in their candidate. Or they wouldn't show up if they knew they were going to win...
-
Happy Hunting, NYPD!
-
The DNC kept them in a razor wire mosh pit and tried to get judges to keep them away. I hope the RNC does not stoop to such tactics.

Oh to have a club and a badge to use it.

Bush has authorized overtime too, man I'd be happy AND have lotsa money for the Rib Cook-out next week.

I still wonder why this game... or bbs attracts more republicans than liberals. Poles have shown +- 50% to either party in real life.
-
It could be that since it is primarily an american game there are more normal people than ones like those pictured above.
-
hehe, that makes no sense

Flame bait.

I think Schad is right here. Let's look at the DNC's behavior at their convention as the latest example.
They secluded all protesters to a razor wire mosh pit, tried to have the judiciary rule that they shouldn't be allowed to protest, and didn't allow Al Jazeera press credentials.

"I still wonder why this game... or bbs attracts more republicans than liberals"
IMO.... Because of the nature of the game these boards support. It's a war game built upon fighting other people in a virtual world.
It's therefore, IMO again, it's only natural that more people here would be hawkish than not. You'd find more of the opposite (liberal, more peaceful inclined audience) in a game like the SIMS Online.
"Oh to have a club and a badge to use it."
NYC is only a short bus ride away.
Really. What's stopping any of you who dislike these people so much from going to NYC to counter demonstrating and smashing a few of those padi-to-march, commie bastard, dirty hippy noses into pulp?

Because it's currently illegal and generally immoral?
-
So what. Tell em your from Florida (they'd just figure your accent was southern anyway) and you know Jeb personally.

All of these out-of-town ***holes, both RNC and protestors, are going to **** up my city for 5 or more days

The Civil War was not a war about slavery, it was a war about retirement benifits.
The Yankees needed a State to retire to and several states for the passage to get there
SO Stiehl, while your city is F@#$ed up for 5 days, The whole South is F@#$ed up for ever!:D

gotta be 18 to join the military. anyone whos in the military is there because they chose to, not because their parents did.
i find the idea of protesting the existance and conferencing of the opposing party rather well, ludicrous at least. which is what a lot of those people seem to be doing.
-
How do you feal about poking an object into the head of a baby (at birth) and killing it? Thats what most of those protesters support.

[lazs]Because the majority of people posting on this BBS are male[/Lazs]
It might be a lazsism... but that's not saying it isn't based on some level of truth.

I'm wondering... they don't have a job that they are protesting and demonstrating all the time? (not exactly in NY... they are everywhere)
If so, why they are disturbing other people, who are living and working in the area?
gee... how many times i will be stucked in a road traffic, caused by some lazy *** who have his right to demonstrate?
they should boght themselves a TV or Radio station and say what they want to say...

The baby is already out of the womb when they do that MT. I don't think your wife would die if the baby is out, but still attached.

Wrong. The purpose behind "deflating" the head is to ease it's passage through the birth canal.
Partial Birth abortions are a great example of a Straw Man. Unfortunately they are very rare in reality accounting for (last I checked) about .02% of all abortions, and 99.9% of these are done to save the life or health of the mother. I'd be all for making that 100%.
-
yep... less women on this board.. we make up for it somewhat with euros but...
add a few women and the boys will all be pretending to be sensitive kerrie voters.
Hopefully they will man up when they hit the voting booth and do the right thing and vote for Bush.

his spelling is better than mine most of time and im american. thats not why i think he delusional. and if were goose stepping i got ripped off i never got trained how to goose step. :)

Sorry MT, you made me do it. Everyone blame MT.
A partial birth abortion is when the baby is out of the mother. The baby is still attached via the umbilical chord. Hence, it is still part of the mother and her "Decision" to do what she wants. So what they do is they take a special "Scissors" apparatus and shove it into the baby's brain stem and open up the apparatus. This makes the brain stem go to mush and kills the baby in a few seconds. However, recent research shows that this is extremely painful for the baby. But no one has ever survived a partial birth abortion, so we can't really go out and ask them.
And btw, this is one of those "I'm right, you're wrong, so STFU please things..."
-
"I'm right, you're wrong, so STFU please"
-
I'm sorry, but there was no other way to put it. The baby is pretty much born when this operation is done. Unless the sucker is trying to get back in it really is of no danger to the mother.
-
Hey why don't you try posting this stuff in the threat dedicated to this evil, disgusting practice.
Anyone who provides this service, and their patrons should burn in hell.
Anyone who provides this service is EVIL and inhuman. Just try to picture in your head the discription of this proceedure, and you will have to make a trip to the bathroom to puke just like I did.
