How is a video portraying some nutjob's opinion on the pentagon attack "Flame bait"? Since it is some idiots view of what happened, you would think it would make for good debate and discussion. Has this board gotten a little too stiffling?
And just to clarify I do not think it was anything but a 757 that hit the pentagon.

probly no worse than the nutjobs who think the kennedy killers are still roaming free keeping the secret...
difference is that the pentagon thing is still very fresh.
10 years from now the same topic may not get locked down.

Most likely because the whole Pentagon conspiracy theory thing is something that has already been beaten to death here on the BBS. Just because someone can bring up the same tired arguement once a week doesn't mean they should.

It's not really the topic so much as this board admin squashing so much lately. Especially in an "off topic" forum like the "O"-club.

I think it is the inability of some to have a rational discussion on here without resorting to name calling, personal attacks and degrading others' view which is the problem; not the original topic. Surely he is entitled to his opinion - no matter how far fetched.

If that is the case then all threads should be locked and we'll turn off our computers and realize that there is a real world out there. I haven't seen very many topics that people haven't violently defended their position which usually resorted in name calling. Maybe if there weren't so many babies on this BBS, this name calling wouldn't be such a big deal.
Think about it. This is just a BBS on the internet. A place to have discussions. Most everybody is just an anononmous personality. Noone will end up dying from some idiot getting pissed and hunting someone down to kill em.
If they locked every thread that had some sort of percieved controversial topic, then there would be nothing to talk about on here.

Not it's not. It is the BBS of HiTech Creations, Inc. Can you blame them for not wanting a BBS chock full of posts of people "violently defend[ing] their position which usually resorted in name calling"?
If it were my company I wouldn't.

I was trying to downplay the importance of this place. It's not like there are REAL reprocussions for anything you say on here.
Say something wrong= Get banned
Come back again as another name.
And a disclaimer stating that the opinions expressed on this board do not reflect the opinions of HTC and the poster is responsible for the content, would be far easier then then having to go around romoving a bunch of stuff.

Read the rules. Do not like them, then leave.
Create an account for the sole purpose of creating angst on this board and you are gone. Simple.
Take the hate to another board. It is not welcome here.
You want to have a discussion, then have one, You want to personally attack other members of this community, you are not welcome here.
