I really want to learn to bomb hangers and gvs with something other than level bombers. I like the A20 and P38, I just can't hit anything with them any suggestions, or anyone willing to teach?

Absolutely
I love the a20, its a great plane, and it just takes a bit of practise & a few basic guidelines to get started hitting with it.
Shoot me an email at

Unlike level bombing where you complete a procedure to get accurate bombing, dive bombing is more feel and practice related.
You will always get the training sights in the TA for them, try a few practice runs bombing and rocketing stuff. Steeper dives give better results but with practice you can do rocket attacks at shallower angles. Try to use similar dive angles and notice where the training sight is on the attack. Then try an attack, maybe off line or in MA without the training sight, and see how you do. In steep dives from altitude compression and remaining in control of your aircraft is also a factor.
Also, try NOT to use any rudder input on your attacks.

I use a procedure for accurate dive bombing. Come in at least 7k or so above your target. Roll inverted and keep your plane level. Look straight up (down) and get your target right close to the center of the screen (that's the center while level, mind you). Pull back on the stick and now put your target in the crosshairs. You might want to do a throttle cut on this dive, it's very easy to overspeed like this. Once you've gone down a ways, to be sure your plane's vector is straight down, drop your bombs. After two or three trys to get an understanding for this your bombs should start to hit right where you aim them.
One of the AH websites has this procedure detailed very well, with screenshots and such. I don't know which site has that.
