Yes, it is missing the engines. no idea where they are.

When you mentioned powerplant and core it sounded like you thought it was "nukular"

 Ahhhh, I see.
  Was just curious about that. Out there somewhere is core parts and engine to a Russian sub. That is if it hasn`t been scrapped.  Might be interesting if someone popped up in about 20 years offering to sell it.
 I`m out. Will be gone a couple of days.

Our Ex-President's son-in-law bought a Russian Juliet-class sub already over 10 years ago and ship was docked at Helsinki for several years and was used as a restaurant.
