In all this talk about what some one does and does not do to get an award.
I have been thinking about My grand father.
He fought fought in the korean war and was awarded a bronze star and a purple hear, as well as some others that I don't know about.
Is there a way to pull up his information online?

Sure run for President on the basis ofyour Granftathers medals....

Your grandfather should have citations stating the events which lead to his receiving the medals.

The problem with this is the main reason i am looking for how to look it up online.
He passed away about a year and a half ago, and my family is not really on speaking terms with his last wife. So I have no way to looking for the paper work or even his medels.
If he was still around I would ask him about it.
