Title: MA suggestion
Post by: AKcurly on September 01, 2004, 10:51:33 PM
Rather than have sun glare or low light conditions, I believe AH should flash a big red H on the screen at the appropriate moment.  We could then take a hammer and strike our head.  About the same effect, eh?

Heard it's been bothering the older players.

Very little contrast at low light. Tough to see, no matter the age. Turn up gamma at night?

Is it me or is the Trinity map in a constant state of sunrise/sunset.

Every time I log into the MA on this map, the sun seem to always be on the horizon ... or do I just have bad timing ?

But if ya fly all day it is better hehe:)

Well, I understand the rationale of permitting attacks sunward and momentary flashes during dog fights.

OTOH,  travel in one direction can be problematic.  I can't see anything and if I adjust the gamma to permit vision, then I can't see anything (too dark) in the reverse direction.

I usually put it w/it for 30 minutes or so and if it doesn't abate, I log.

Doesn't hurt my eyes any, and I can see fine. Not sure what the problem is.

How about having night again and being able to pork fuel. Even in Ah1 you would still have 25% after porking. The game is getting wierd cant take plane u want, cant pork fuel, no night time, cant take planes up if you have number advandage. Why not just take fileds away and just furball. Everybody talks about game being realistic then why that all of this away. Bring back all the aboove and when you die make it where you cant up a plane for a couple of minutes. That would be more realistic.

I've noticed that too Slap. I'm "actually" flying this tour and everytime I log on..

Onions I'll just camp on the door step and when you get yourself in trouble ingame I'll open up with an M60 and spray the house. Nothin like that pucker factor. Somethin about trying to become "one" with the floor just gives a person a different way of looking at things.

..then I'll syphon the gas out of your car..

I'm always happy to help.

Curly..SQUINT for crips sakes. Short of headache the only drawback are those nasty crowfoot lines..

I think they give one that distinguished look that the babe's go for..

..but buy a new car. You ain't gettin babes in that.

Slapshot, I deliberately checked that tonight.  I logged in around 8:00 p.m., logged out around 11:00 p.m.  Sun was on the horizon for 3 hours.

Maybe Hitech is trying to exercise our squint muscles. ;)

Reminds me of my Dad waking us up with two flashlights in the middle of the night while yelling "Git outta the road! TRUCK!"

Best way to fix this is to balance it out with night time.  At least 1.5 hours of it ingame.

I don't like the overly bright sun either. However, I have been using it to hide in. I just position myself up sun and sneak in. Often works like the Klingon cloaking device. :)

My regards,

Well, as you know the Klingon cloaking device is easily detectable using tachyon particles. The Romulan cloak is much better.

Klingons like to circle Uranus and in my opinion they should all be wiped out.

Whats funny for me is sun shining in my eyes but when I drop to Zoom a plane I can hardly see him this has been happening to me for the past two weeks. Just wondering has AH2 made me blind or what.
