Can anyone please tell me what the heck JABO stands for??? I know its related to fighter-bomber attacks. Just wondering if it's some military acronym (like snafu and BUFF).
Also, what is the best way to drop bombs from a fighter and actually HIT your target with a high degree of accuracy? I've tried 45 degree angle at around 350-400 mph dropping ord at about 1.5-2k altitude and I keep missing.

Between 90 and 70 degrees, bore sight on target, at 1G. NO RUDDER INPUTS!
You'll never miss that way (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif) works from 8k to splat.
I think Jabo was just a German term?

'Jabo' comes from the term 'Jagdbomber', which is German for Fighter-Bomber.
Practice, like everything else in AH, makes perfect.

45 degreee dive, drop when target is halfway down your sight.
Make sure rudder ball is centered, no rudder input, as mentioned.

65 degre angle I line up on target at about 450 -500ft I drop as soon as target is 6 o'clock on my gun sight, works for me

Thanks all! I'll hit the training arena to try a few of these out.

Spitlead, I noted that you and I live in the same time zone (Sumner, 30 miles south of you)...email me and I'll meet you in TA and send you a gunsite that will help improve your bombing and rockets:
